Tinto da Ânfora 2006 International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2009 Silver. Made from a selection of grapes: Aragonez, Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Alfrocheiro and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine had been fermented and matured for approximately 12 months in small oak barrels. Dark ruby colour with hardly noticeable purple hues. Intense aromas of nutmeg, vanilla, blackberries, plums with a touch of mint (a complex and well balanced nose). Also complex in the mouth with plums, dried cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and a hint of thyme. Mid-weight, nice acids, supple tannins.
