Good weight yet silky and nicely full. Holding well its colour and age for a 2003.Pronounced on the mid palate and rounded. Touch of nutmeg on mid palate developing later to a white peppery shine and long finish.Damson and well structured and textured. Bit closed on the nose at first but opens up into like a mashed mango and banana compote. Like this one 8/10 or 4/5 for the site.
If this wine is no longer available, why is it still listed at the very top of the “Top 10 rated supermarket wines” on the homepage?
