Our pick of the best supermarket wines for Christmas

Article date: 8 December 2013

Each year we try to make a list of the best wines for Christmas. And each year it seems to get harder. There are so many wines to choose from, yet trying to find a pairing for traditional dinner fare, such as turkey, is a bit of a tortuous exercise. So this year, we’ve decided to take a different approach and simply pick wines that may or may not have a touch of Christmas about them, but do have either a sense of occasion or even an element of risk about them. Feel free to agree, disagree or add your own recommendations in the comments section below.
